What would the world be like in 400 years?
I cannot predict the future, but I can at least make a guess
to what will happen. In 400 years science and technology will advance to the
stars. People would use technology to help clone human body parts for
transplants. Now people wouldn’t need to donate organs to other people. We will
have floating pieces of land covered by large domes in space that will be home
to many human beings. Also we would use our technology to cure all disease known
today as well as new diseases appearing. Our fossil fuels will be depleted and
we will result into using solar energy, wind energy, and hydro energy. By this
time the whole world would be much polluted because of all the use up of fossil
fuels. The world would desperately be trying to fix or control all the
pollution. As the world is advancing,
much of the people on earth will have enough food to live. This means that the
population will increase, and therefore the need for more and more resources
will spring up. At this point many people will be fighting for food and land.
Wars would be produced in this conflict causing many people to die. All the
major powers of the earth will fight with nuclear weapons and missiles. There
would be anti-nuclear weapons in space that would almost destroy a launched nuclear
weapon every time. So it would be very hard to destroy or exterminate a
country, but if a nuclear weapon hit a country, it would devastate it and
completely kill everything. With the big powers fighting each other, the
smaller powers would be fighting on the ground with troops. The war would
probably end with one of the major powers destroying the opposing countries
or conquering them. These events will lead to a global piece that will probably
last for fifty to a hundred years. There will be tuff times to live in and many
people will suffer, but with the advancements in technology, it will be much
easier to recover from much lost.
